Goal: Increase donations and supporters during your next fundraiser.
Who’s it for: Nonprofits hosting in-person fundraisers or ongoing campaigns who want to build energy around fundraising progress.
How it works
- Display: Set a goal for your fundraising and show the thermometer on screen at your fundraising event or online.
- Ask: Use a QR code or a text keyword to ask people to make a pledge.
- Share: Your donors can share their name and a message to display on screen. You pick the prompts for what you want to display.
- Donate: After the pledge, the system sends a link to your preferred donation platform so supporters can complete their pledge.
- Follow up: If they don’t complete their pledge during the event, just follow up. You have their contact info to send a reminder.
- Reply: If you want, you can jump in and respond to people in real time, replying to their message and thanking them for their donation.

Next steps
- Say thanks: Pair with ringless voicemail to send an audio thank you after your event. This is a simple way to increase engagement.
- Start here: Adding a thermometer to your next fundraiser might be a good way to introduce your nonprofit to texting (“we don’t know where to start” is a common excuse) and your gateway to develop a larger mobile strategy. If that sounds like something that requires board approval, we can help you get leadership on board.
- Add to contacts: Create a contact card for your nonprofit so supporters can see your name come up on their phone.
