Rally Corp Does Not Hold Donor Funds
Donations go directly to your organization's bank account — never ours.
Rally Corp, Inc ("Rally") and its related products — including Rally Pages, Giving Games (Fundraise.so), and other Rally-powered tools — are communications and engagement platforms that integrate with leading donation platforms like Stripe, Fundraise Up, GoFundMe Pro (formerly Classy), and Virtuous.
Rally Corp never holds donor funds in a bank account we control.
Whether donations are processed through your existing payment provider or through Rally's integrated payment solutions (powered by Stripe), funds always flow directly to your nonprofit's connected bank account — not to Rally.
This means:
- Rally Corp never takes custody of donations — funds go directly to your bank
- Rally Corp cannot delay, hold, or redirect your funds
- Your nonprofit maintains full control of all financial operations
How Rally Works (in simple terms)
Rally products help you:
- Send text messages and campaigns
- Create engagement experiences (like Rally Pages and Giving Games)
- Guide supporters to donate
- Track clicks and participation
When a supporter donates:
Rally does not take custody of donor funds in this process.
Applies to all Rally products
This policy applies to all Rally-owned and Rally-powered tools, including but not limited to:
Regardless of which Rally product you use, donations are always handled by your connected fundraising and payment systems.
You stay in full control of your fundraising
Because you use your own payment processor and donation pages:
- You control your bank account
- You control refunds and chargebacks
- You maintain your own financial compliance
- You avoid third-party custody risk
Rally provides the communication and campaign layer.
What Rally is (and is not)
Rally is:
- A communications and engagement platform
- A fundraising campaign and automation tool
- A system for guiding supporters to your existing donation tools
Rally is not:
- A custodial wallet or escrow service
- A platform that holds charitable funds in our bank accounts
- A middleman that controls when or how you receive donations
Why this matters
Recent industry events have highlighted the risk of using platforms that hold or control nonprofit funds.
Rally was intentionally designed to avoid this risk.
Our architecture ensures that:
- Donations flow directly to nonprofits
- Funds remain with the nonprofit's chosen payment processor
- Rally cannot interrupt or delay payouts
- Supporter trust is protected
Transparency by design
Rally's role is limited to:
- Message delivery
- Campaign orchestration
- Engagement analytics
- Workflow automation
All financial transactions occur between:
Not through Rally.
Registered Charitable Fundraising Platform
Rally Corp is a registered Charitable Fundraising Platform (CFP) with the California Attorney General's Registry of Charitable Trusts, in compliance with California's AB 488 legislation.
This registration reflects our commitment to transparency and accountability in the nonprofit fundraising space. While Rally never holds donor funds in accounts we control, we maintain this registration to demonstrate our dedication to operating with integrity and in full compliance with state regulations governing charitable fundraising platforms.
Legal clarification
